Meet "Josie" The Owner

Meet Josette "Josie" Camacho-Freyre, our Funeral Director in charge/owner, a well respected Funeral Director and embalmer from within the community. She was born and raised in the Bronx, New York. She is known for her amazing personality and compassion for helping people during their most difficult time of need.

Josie has been in the funeral industry for the past 28 years working in major funeral homes in New York City where she was able to obtain a wealth of knowledge and experience in the funeral industry with various customs and traditions in such a high paced environment.

Josie relocated with her family to the Central Florida area in 1999 and has worked for the local funeral homes in Kissimmee and Orlando. Families who have dealt with Josie departed the arrangement conference room with a sense of satisfaction knowing that their loved one was in good hands.

Seven (7) years ago, she decided to leave the local funeral homes as a Florida State Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and open up Cremations America Central Florida. Within the past seven (7) years Cremations America Central Florida has climbed up in call volume and has become the choice for cremation service needs which has the local funeral homes and cremation services scratching their heads. Families she has assisted while working in the local funeral homes in the past have reach out to her and have and are now advocates for.
